For category and sourcing teams
Custom cool mobility scooter sourcing help
Turn a visual idea into a supplier brief. “Cool” describes a style preference; it does not establish performance, user suitability or safety. We help separate those decisions so the proposed configuration can be reviewed.
- Define the appearance and technical request.
- Ask possible suppliers for scoped quotations.
- Resolve sample and document questions.
Three gates keep changes visible
RFQ completeness
Name the vehicle type and intended use, frame material, wheel specification and dimensions. Give motor/controller rating and battery chemistry and capacity as buyer requirements, or mark them for supplier confirmation. Keep unit labels such as W, V, Ah and Wh attached to the appropriate parameter.
Sample approval
Agree the sample configuration, appearance references, accessories and packaging. Ask whether the sample has the same motor, brake system, battery and controller as the quoted item. A related sample cannot resolve a different model's unanswered questions. Record changes before production is discussed.
Shipment terms
Ask the supplier for carton dimensions, pack ratio, shipping configuration and delivery assumptions. Separate sample preparation, production and transport timing. These dates require supplier confirmation and buyer approval; an inquiry is not a committed order or delivery date.
Your requirements and their evidence
What you bring
A drawing revision, color reference, proposed quantities, destination ZIP code, packaging needs and decision priorities. A premium finish may matter more than the initial unit price, while a simpler configuration may fit a constrained budget. Identify which requirement can change without changing intended use.
What we ask suppliers to confirm
Model-linked specifications, exact-item test evidence, quotation exclusions, minimum order quantity and sample charges. A lower unit price is not comparable until pack and freight scope match. Generic certificates remain unresolved until the issuing scope, model and revision are checked.
Independent sourcing coordination does not replace technical testing, legal review or medical advice. Read the mobility procurement brief; then explore inquiry configurations or sample planning.
