Buyer and supplier responsibilities planning illustration

Your independent sourcing partner

About Custom Mobility Scooter Sourcing

Our role is buyer-side coordination: organize a clear requirement, find possible manufacturing sources and help compare the scope of their responses. The manufacturer remains responsible for the item it proposes and the evidence it supplies.

  1. Buyer defines the requirement.
  2. Sourcing support organizes questions.
  3. Supplier responds; buyer decides.

Four principles behind the brief

01

Requirement clarity

We start with measurable inputs instead of broad style claims. Frame material, overall dimensions, wheel specification, battery capacity and motor/controller ratings each need a defined request or an explicit confirmation question.

02

Quote comparability

Currency, quantity basis, pack ratio, carton dimensions, included accessories and freight scope belong together. A unit price without those assumptions does not explain the complete procurement cost.

03

Verification visibility

We keep exact-item test evidence, proposed sample and document revision questions visible. The fact that a document exists does not establish that it applies to the configuration under discussion.

04

Buyer decision

You control the mandatory requirements, budget, sample approver and purchase decision. Premium, mid-range or budget preferences help frame options; they are not supplier quality ratings assigned by this service.

Keep responsibility attached to its source

Buyer-provided context

Tell us your commercial channel, intended use, quantities by version and US destination. If a requirement depends on a particular user group or operating environment, state it for specialist review rather than relying on a retail description.

Supplier-confirmed scope

Model specifications, availability, sample cost, production assumptions and transport terms must come from the responding supplier. We do not claim factory ownership, inventory, third-party authorization or model certification. Medical suitability and safety performance require qualified review outside this sourcing brief.

See the sourcing gates, buyer scenarios and Read the mobility procurement brief. The public articles explain procurement questions; they do not report completed factory audits or customer outcomes.

Make the unanswered questions part of your request

A partial specification is useful when it clearly distinguishes confirmed buyer needs from open supplier questions. Include quantity, destination, timing and any documents you want reviewed.
